Everyday Emergencies
The twelve emergencies most likely to happen in front of you.
These are the ones that show up in kitchens, offices, ball games, and living rooms. Heart attacks that do not look like heart attacks. Strokes that fade and come back worse. A person who is choking and cannot make a sound. Each course takes about ten minutes and teaches you the same two things: how to recognize it, and what to do in the first five minutes. You do not need to memorize them all at once. Take one a week.
Who it's for: Any adult who spends time around other people.
